The Greene County wrestling team put one in the win column in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference with a dual meet win over Nevada in Jefferson Thursday. Score was 57-6.
Winning by fall were Cayden Gerdes (126), Abe Yoder (132) and Jordan Challen (138). Tommy Bradshaw (152), Isaiah Yoder (160) and Keden Pollock (170) won by major decisions. Kane Borgeson (113) won 11-4. Winning by forfeit were Mark Kendall (182), Hunter Ruth (195), Jamie Theulen (220) and George Zito (280).
The only Ram loss was by Isaac Ireland at 120 lbs. No matches were wrestled at 106 and 145 lbs.
It was Senior Night for the Rams, who honored Abe Yoder, Challen and Theulen.
The Ram grapplers are 1-3 in the HOIAC and 5-8 overall in dual meet wrestling.
